Onrus River Beach is minutes away from the central village Hermanus - mecca of the Southern Right Whales. Superb restaurants and ozone air! It is also one hours drive from Cape Town International Airport. Hermanus is in the Overberg Region of the Western Cape - from Cape Town on your way to the Garden Route you find the gem of a town. This year voted as the number one town in South Africa! Boat based whale watching trips, Fernkloof and Harold Porter botanical garden walk and talk, Three Golf Courses only 13 minutes from KENNEDYS ! One of these golf courses - The Arabella Golf Estate. Wine estate trips and wine tasting, Art and festivals, mountain hiking and nature walks along the beachs and into the mountain, Cliff and beach walks, Visit the Danger Point Lighthouse (Historical), Great White Shark Diving, Scuba diving, visit the penguin colony.
