Vacation Rental Description
La Petite Rose house is a traditional 1 bedroom stone Perigordian farmhouse built in the 18th c. It is located up on a hillside, on a quiet semi-private single lane road. Surrounded by nature and farms, it is a quite retreat. The Pool, Jacuzzi, children's play area are located in the orchard, enjoying the magnificent valley view.
The house is fully equipped with a fireplace and sofa sleeper in the livingroom, and double bed in the bedroom ensuite bathroom. The bedroom has large windows overlooking the gardens.
Area DescriptionA short walk (1km) down the country lane you will find the local grocery store, boulangerie, bank, bar, and restaurants. Only 2km is the dramatic Chateau de Hautefort, a magnificent 17th c castle famous for it's beautiful architecture and gardens. The Dordogne region offers wonderful site seeing: 1001 Castles, Cro-Magnon man cave paintings, medieval villages, open air markets, and great food and wine! It's easy to keep everyone in the family happy, as it is a great place to visit sites or to just relax by the pool enjoying the view and a good book.
