Filled with charm and character these two recently renovated gites provide the perfect setting for you to enjoy everything Burgundy has to offer. From stunning scenery, local produce from the many markets across the region, to the numerous historic towns and villages.
l'Annexe
All on one level, with two double bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, separate dining and large living area there is plenty of room for up to 4 adults. An additional cot is available for infants. There is also a shower room plus separate WC for your use.
A comfortable sitting area with original stone walls, wood burning stove, Satellite TV, Dvd and CD players. A little nook dining area with table, 4 chairs and an outside terrace where you can sit and enjoy your café and croissants in the morning, overlooking the meadow and the pretty views.
A welcome hamper is also provided containing essential items for when you first arrive
The gite is situated next to an adjacent property (Auberge) which can also be rented out to provide accommodation for larger groups. The owners are also occasionally in residence in the main farmhouse next door.
A utility room with washing machine and clothes dryer is located in the garage, this is also shared with the neighboring property.
Auberge
On two levels, upstairs you will find one double bedroom, one twin room and a shower room. Downstairs the gite has a comfortable open plan kitchen, living and dining area with plenty of room for up to 4 adults. An additional cot and high chair is available for infants.

Area Description
The gite is set amid the picturesque Morvan Park and just 10mins walk away from the Lake (Etang de Poisson) where you will enjoy beautiful views across the lake to Mont Beuvray.
Burgundy is famous for its wonderful wines, you can go to one of the regions many vineyards ,have a guided tour and then take part in the wine tasting. If it's history that you are after then visit Mont Beuvray or a 15min drive will take you to the old Roman town of Autun, where you can still see part of the ancient roman walls standing. Visiting Dijon is a must, stroll through its pedestrianised streets and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic town. Visit the Traditional French Markets held weekly in most towns and villages in the area.
In the village just a few kms away, you will find a:
boulangerie, epicerie, petrol station, pharmacy, doctor, bar, post office, hair dresser and a lovely restaurant at the Hotel du Morvan.
Here they serve traditional and local foods, and you can be assured of a very warm welcome.
