Vacation Rental Description

The house is located on the edge of the marsh with a wooded view. There are several live oaks, cypress trees, magnolias, and gardenias throughout the property. The river is just a short walk down a wooded path. At night, you can hear tree frogs croaking and by day, you can hear birds chirping. There is a large bird feeder that can be seen from the sunroom- you can spend hours admiring the red cardinals, finches, carolina chick-a-dees, carolina wrens, and red-winged blackbirds. From the distance you can see Canadian Geese and sometimes a Great Egret.

Area Description

This cozy cottage-style home is just 25 minutes away from downtown Charleston and 35 minutes from the beach. The home is located in West Ashley, which is conveniently located from many visitor attractions. Middleton Place Plantation, Magnolia Plantation, Drayton Hall Plantation, and Runnymede Plantation are just 5 minutes away. If you are having or attending a wedding at one of these plantations, this home is perfect for you! This home is located on a cul-de-sac with walking access to the river. This home offers peace and relaxation after a days worth of touring the city. Each window gives you a few of lush green trees and wildlife. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms in the home. If you are lucky, you will see white cranes, hawks, rabbits, and bob-tailed cats wander through the back yard. On occasion, you may even see a fiddler crab waving his fiddle at you.

Rates:

Peak Season: June 2011 - October 31st 2011:

$129/ night, $849/ week, $3,200/ month (only available one month at a time upon approval).

 

Off-Peak Season: November 1st, 2011 - March 15th, 2011

$119/ night, $829/ week, $2,999/ month (only available one month at a time upon approval).

 

Fees:

Cleaning Fee - $65.00

Pet Fee - $10/ day per pet - small dogs only, no large breeds, please.

 

Deposit:

A $200 refundable damage deposit is due within 3 days of making reservation. This will be refunded within 7 days after check-out assuming no damages.

 

Check In/ Check Out:

Check In time is 2pm or later.

Check Out is by 11am.

 

Rules:

The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons. An additional charge or $15 per person per night for guests in addition to 6 will be assessed after approval of homeowner.

This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. 

Absolutely no smoking in the house or on the property.

 

Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection.  Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.

 

If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the reservation deposit will be refunded as follows: 

 

100% if cancelled 30 days prior to the Check-in Date 

50% if cancelled 15 days prior to the Check-in Date

                 No refund if less than 14 days notice.
