Area Description
If you want your vaction to be fun, convenient and easy, this is the heart of Daytona, where all the action is. It is a part of Ocean Walk Shoppes, which has famous restaurants like Bubba Gumps, a movie theater, shopping, ice cream, and a Starbucks, all right outside the resort. There is also a water park across the street. Everything you need is within walking distance of the resort.
Daytona Beach, Florida is the "World's Most Famous Beach." Its 23 miles of beautiful white sand beaches are famous the world over dating back from the very early 1900's when automobiles were first raced on the beach. Today driving on the hard-packed sand is allowed only on an 18-mile stretch of the beach during daytime hours. Five miles of beach are now reserved for visitors who wish not to have to share the beach with cars.
