Area Description

Canon Court apartments are ideally located to access Edinburgh's attractions and amenities. The Royal Botanic Gardens is a short walk from the apartments. This is Scotland's Premier Garden established in 1820 and includes 11 glasshouses and Britain's tallest Palm House. Other attractions can be reached by a short bus ride. Buses run regularly from just outside the apartments. You can enjoy shopping in Edinburgh's Princes Street and surrounding streets, or visit the castle, galleries and museums or take in a show. There are many wonderful restaurants in Edinburgh including 3 with Michelin Stars. You can also visit Ocean Terminal situated in Edinburgh's port of Leith. Here you will find the Royal Yacht Britannia, great shopping in the mall as well as some fashionable new bars, bistros and brassieres, especially along the Shore, where you can enjoy some superb fish and seafood.

You'll find all the amenities you need close to the apartments. A large supermarket, chemist, post office, launderette, bars, cafes and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk.
