Vacation Rental Description

The Sherwood is a 4 star guest house just 1 mile from the center of Edinburgh, Scotland's Capitol. We have twin, double and family en-suite rooms. All rooms have double glazing and central heating to ensure our flexible Scottish weather does not encroach into our living areas. We serve a continental style buffet breakfast with meats, cheeses, cereals, yogurts, croissant, pan au chocolat and fresh baked white and brown rolls.

 

There is free wi-fi in all rooms but to save you lugging your computer we have a p.c available for guests use.

Our house was completed initially in 1832, but we constantly maintain and upgrade our house so that our guests feel relaxed and very comfortable during their stay.

We are happy to advise on tours to other parts of Scotland and of course where to eat and drink in the area close to the guest house.

Area Description

The Sherwood is situated in the Newington area of Edinburgh. Newington  is an area rich with interesting shops, cafes, bars and wonderful places to eat. We are just over 1 mile from the famous Royal mile .

Our room rate vary from season to season but start at just 55 pounds per night for 2 people in a double or twin room. Our rate in our family rooms are variable depending on no. of beds used.
