Spanish Wells - Russell Island Pink Hibiscus Cottage: Enjoy tropical island tranquility at its finest! Fully furnished 2-bed oceanfront cottage with all of the amenities to make you comfortable: central air, cable tv, internet, telephone, kayaks, adult bikes, snorkel gear & noodles. Pictures don't do justice--breathtaking views of the turquoise ocean. Snorkel, swim or kayak right in front of the cottage, or take the kayaks about 2 blocks diagonally right to the Spanish Wells beach which you can see from the cottage (or it's just a short ride around the island by golf cart).
Home location is a few blocks over the Russell Island bridge that connects to Spanish Wells. From the front porch, view the spectacular sunsets, watch the boats sail by, or birdwatch. Rent a golf cart and explore the Spanish Wells area. Restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir stores, and marina nearby. Wonderful water activities such as kayaking, boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, swimming. Plan a day trip to nearby Harbour Island. Our local Caretaker is a licensed captain and can take you on arranged snorkel, fishing, boat, or island excursions for an additional fee.
How to arrive: Ferry from Nassau is a 2 hour ride and comes most daily to Spanish Wells dock direct, or by airplane, North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) is the closest airport. There is a local service from Spanish Wells which will provide airport transportation from the airport to the Spanish Wells dock (combined ground and 5 minute boat ferry for approximately $30 per person round trip). Once you get to the Spanish Wells dock, our Caretaker will greet you and if you rented a golf cart (approx $225 per week for a 2-seater, $250 for a 4-seater), you can retrieve it right there and follow and/or ride with our Caretaker on over to the Pink Hibiscus Cottage to enjoy your vacation for your stay. We can assist you with transportation arrangement questions to help make your trip run smoothly.

Area DescriptionFishing village, Spanish Wells - Russell Island located at the northern tip of Eleuthera, accessible by 5 minute ferry from Gene's Bay, North Eleuthera dock. Only an hour's flight from Miami or Fort Lauderdale. North Eleuthera Airport is the closest airport (ELH), or the Bohengy Ferry arrives most daily from Nassau to Spanish Wells in the morning.
