Area Description

 

Past the wrought iron security gate, the driveway to Aiden's offers a foretaste of the big log lodge itself. The deep green forests of mountain laurel, hemlocks, birches and oaks encloses Aiden's in a natural veil of privacy and seclusion. 

Two mountain creeks have their confluence at the far corner of the lodge, and one of these streams is often heard from the huge covered rear deck. 

The covered entrance way heads to a slate floored great room with a very well equipped kitchen just ahead, and a 23 foot cathedral living area just beyond. 

The massive stone fireplace ( gas logs ) reaches to the pinnacle of the cathedral ceiling, and the large windows take in the beauty of the Smokies forest. 

The matching leather sofa and loveseat are perfectly situated to take in the forested surroundings, and the 42" flat screen TV / DVD. For more active enjoyment, the dual purpose bumper pool and card table stands ready for action. 

There are dining chairs for nine, and the fully equipped kitchen features black granite countertops, Maytag and Hamilton Beach appliances and that classic big log open beam ceiling. 

Directly out from the dining table is the spacious deck. The centerpiece of this truly private deck is its fabulous eight person hot tub. A glass topped picnic table, Char-Broil propane grill, and several rocking chairs complete your enjoyment of this massive, covered outdoor relaxation area. 

Just behind the kitchen is the large utility room with Maytag washer and dryer, perfect for conveniently caring for your guests. 

And just down the rear hallway is a is a queen bedroom suite with a six drawer oak chest, two matching end chests with lamps, and a 20" flat screen TV / DVD. The private shower bath and walk in closet complete this main floor bedroom suite. 

On the opposite side of the main floor, another queen bedroom suite features a five drawer American walnut chest with two matching end chests with lamps, a wrought iron bamboo-themed four poster bed, and a 20" flat screen TV / DVD. This suite also has a private bath, with shower tub. 

Up the stairs in the vaulted loft billiards area, there are two upholstered pub chairs, a queen sleeper sofa, and two end tables with lamps. The billiards area, large enough for a crowd, is the perfect place for enjoying your friends and family gathered in this gorgeous big log lodge. 

Behind the billiards loft are two king bedroom suites. The one on the left is in American hickory, with a six drawer chest, two matching end chests with lamps, and a 20" flat screen TV / DVD. 
The private bath with shower tub completes this spacious private suite. 

The king bedroom suite on the right features a light English oak six drawer chest, two matching end chests with lamps, and a shower tub bath.

• Shopping for your groceries prior to your arrival. All you do is supply us with a list and we will pick up the basics for you!

• Purchasing show tickets of your choice in advance so you need not wait in line. Just let us know when and where you would like to go and we will have the tickets ready for you when you arrive.

• Limo or van services for airport arrivals, we will also help you with rental car reservations so your car is waiting in your cabin or lodges driveway when you arrive.
