Vacation Rental Description
Sofita is a Venetian stone maisonette, traditionally built the 19th century, with a pool of 25 sqm size. It is situated in the traditional village of Maroulas, which is just 10 km from the town of Rethymno. In the village there is a traditional cafe. In 1.5 km there is a taverna and a mini market. The distance to the beach is 3 km. Sofita is a 2 storey traditional stone built house, consisting of a bathroom and 1 bedroom, wit the possibility of accommodating 1 extra person in the sofa-bed which is in the living room. This house is unique for those who would like to taste the unspoilt side of Crete, traditionally and living in these old houses from the Venetian period. A car is considered to be essential for exploring the whole island.
