Tyas Cottage is within easy reach of a wide range of attractions yet very secluded (at the end of a cul-de-sac). It is part of a small, ancient hamlet in Merrydale valley (designated as a Site of Scientific Interest) and the site of the first Colne Valley water-powered mill (17th C). It has a private terrace plus access to large shared garden, river, mill-pond, waterfall, woodland and nearby moors (and the Pennine Way). There are 11 golf courses within 5 miles.
