Area Description
Conveniently located for easy day trips to most any place IslandWide, where you can return home to a really nice place to refresh, rest, get ready to go out and explore again tomorrow!
We are about 4 miles from the main town of Kailua which has all the shops like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, and also fast foods like Wendy's, Taco-Bell, McDonalds. Also downtown are fine local food restaurants like Kona Inn, Quinn's, Big Island Grill and Chubby's.
We are almost 8 miles from Kona International Airport, so in about 10-15 minutes you would be here in your rental traveling from your arrival at the airport.
There are beaches all up and down the Kona Coast, the closest is The Harbor, about 6 miles or 11 minutes away.
Kailua has several sandy beaches with swimming and snorkeling, snorkel and diving cruises, luaus (Hawaiian Feasts usually with Hula and other Performers), submarine rides, parasailing, and much more to offer.
We are convenient to all the other destinations of the Island, many popular day trips would be to see the Volcano, a visit to Hilo on the "East Side", a visit to the cowboy country of Waimea, and to see the sunset at Mauna Kea.
