Located in the heart of the wonderful Olympic vacation resort village of Lake Placid ,we invite you to come to a perfect getaway . Discover the convenience of being in the center of town while relaxing in a quiet and peaceful setting. Escape the hustle and bustle of home without having to isolate yourselves in the deep woods.
Fully furnished four bedroom townhome, sleeps 10 COMFORTABLY , walking distance to Lake Placid village for shopping, swimming and eating, hockey, sledding , skiing, and ice skating. AND SO MUCH MORE!
The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, blender and toaster. There are all kinds of pots and pans for cooking with all kinds of utensils including dishes, bowls, silverware and glasses. There is a flat screen T.V. above the fireplace with cable in the main living room and Bunk room. Bunk room is also set up with X-Box. LOTS OF BOARD GAMES, BEACH CHAIRS AND COOLERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR COMFORT. SLEDS IN THE WINTER, RAFTS IN THE SUMMER.
Our cozy living room has comfy furniture-a large sectional sofa, gas fireplace, cable TV plus DVD & VCR and plenty of room to relax and unwind.
The second floor has a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a second bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is also a full bathroom with private access from the master bedroom.
The down stairs has two bedrooms. One with 2 sets of bunk beds (Bunk room) can sleep up to 6. The other room has a queen sized bed. There is a shared full bath and a laundry room with washer and dryer. Linen, towels and soaps are available for your use.
On the deck we have a gas grill for your convenience or to just sit and take in the fresh air in our adirondack chairs. THERE IS A DECK LOCATED ON THE GROUND FLOOR AND ONE ON THE ABOVE GROUND FLOOR OFF THE LIVING ROOM TO BREATHE IN THE FRESH ADIRONDACK AIR, READ A BOOK OR JUST RELAX!
We are right across the street from Lisa G's restaurant, with a small playground and water fall. We are walking distance to Lake Placid village for shopping, dining, swimming and a tennis court(free) at Mirror Lake beach. Less than 15 minutes to Whiteface ski resort and 5 minutes to the Lake Placid Horse Show stadium. This is the High Peaks Region and home to the Lake Placid Ironman Triathalon. Close by you can hike, bike or run. You are minutes from the Olympic ski jumps, ice skating oval and the Olympic bobsled runs at Mt. VanHovenberg. There are many lakes and streams close by for fishing. Minutes from the lake, public beach, main street shops, eateries and Olympic venues . Hike the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mts, Ski at the 1980 Winter Olympics Mt.-Whiteface, or go Mt. biking in the summer, Tour the Olympic Sites and go for a Bobsled Ride, Enjoy fine restaurants, take a Tour of the lake on the historic 'Lady of the Lake', take the elevator to the top of the ski jumps and view the scenic Adirondack Mts. The Whiteface Club offers on site Golf, Tennis, Marina, and in the winter Cross country skiing, Sleigh Rides.
Enjoy a relaxing stroll to dinner at one of the many fine restaurants and pubs in town. Sample some of the award winning micro-brews or savor your favorite wine without having to worry about who is going to safely drive you home. Easily accessible in the winter.. A few steps away is the shuttle during ski season it will take you to WhiteFace, and the trolley which runs year-round will take you through town. AND it's FREE.
