Epecially designed as a casual "sand & seaside" retreat with much attention to detail, it is well equipped for your get-a-way at the Oregon Coast. 

This Nantucket-style shingled cottage sits upon the sand, surrounded by beach grass. A tiny driftwood & seaglass garden leads to the sandy path to the beach (w/warm-water outdoor shower!); a small entry area courtyard/grill garden(oversized SS Jennaire gas grill)keeps entertaining easy. 

Build beach bonfires, sip wine, picnic, fly kites, hunt for glass floats, kayak in the bay & up the river, collect sea treaures, watch local windsailers, take long beach walks, soak in the hot tub, or get cozy inside with a good book & watch amazing winter storms! 

Evenings are spectacular, with lights from Taft's small hotels twinkling across the waters. 

Inside the cottage: finishes of Brazilian hardwood, travertine, granite, river rock, copper & beadedboard set off dramatic yet cozy cottage details and comfy furnishings. Greatroom w/custom FP, bigscreen TV, seaside dining & entertainers kitchen. A daybed along the stairway offers serene beach views. 

Each bdm/bath is unique & beautiful... the mstr suites' incredible soaring barrel ceiling sets off the million $$ view window wall! A king bed, easy chairs & flat screen TV, travertine bath w/large steam-shower (w/awesome water views!) & bubbler tub (w/aromatic & herbal salts)complete this special space. 

The upstairs guestroom, with queen & single bed, sparkles with its' custom seashell/colored glass chandelier & sea view. Bath w/separate vanity area & tub/shower combo. 

Downstairs, a "beachy" style bedroom with queen bed sports lux black & beige checkerboard carpet & a fun surf-board chandelier. Small bath w/tropical decor, glass vessel sink & shower. 

A small loft at the top of the stairs has an internet desk & printer for those who just can't escape a little work on the side. 

Quality linens, dishes/bakeware, stemware, espresso maker & teak bar/server will help you feel at home in the ship-shape kitchen; picnic items, books, games & music are included for your use.

CLAMBAKE COTTAGE is for those wanting a bit more than the usual beach house rental. The quintessential "barefoot" beach house, with a dash of extra class! 

Area Description

LOCATION IS EVERYTHING! Clambake Cottage sits on the beach just across the water from the popular Mo's Restaurant in the Taft area. This usually quiet, "best kept secret" sort of beach is Lincoln City's 4th of July "fireworks beach"... & THE place to be! 

Other favorite places nearby include the fabulous Bay House Restaurant (enjoy their special Happy Hour appetizers... you can even walk over!), Taft's Glass Blowig Studio (blow you own glass beach float), Salishan Resort (Marketplace, Lodge/restaurant, Spa & Golf Course), Shuckers Oyster Bar, as well as the unique small shops of Taft. 

It's an easy drive to all Lincoln County activities, including the outlet stores, Chinook Winds Casino, Cascade Head hiking trail, area surfing beaches, Depoe Bay fishing charters, Newport Bayfront & the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Lincoln County hosts numerous weekend festivals... antiques & art, wooden boat show, seafood & wine, sand castle building, surf & kite contests. And be sure to allow a little time, on your way out to the coast, to visit some of the award-winning Willamette Valley Wineries!

 Special Winter Weekday (Sun - Thurs) rate: $300.00

 Winter Weekly rate (except holidays): $2000

50% Deposit secures reservations, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival date.  Payments may be made via personal check, cashier's check or direct bank deposit.
