You are surrounded by great restaurants from haute cuisine to charming ethnic neighborhood restaurants and diners. The area is known for its hip boutiques, off-broadway theaters, bars, art galleries, and cinemas. It's a short walk to the Washington Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village, Soho, or Chinatown. Subway and busses are excellent, cheap and can take you to just about any neighborhood you desire.
