You won't be dissapointed by this beautiful and very unique vacation property.  If you enjoy peace and quiet, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling or just sitting by the dock and listening to the birds, you’ve got to check out Upper Michigan Lake Rentals.  Upper Michigan Rentals is located in the middle of Lake Michigamme on Ramsey Island.  What could be better than to spend a quiet relaxing week in the middle of one of Upper Michigan’s premier sports lakes.  Boat rentals are available.  Besides the fact that we are located ON AN ISLAND, this property boasts a wide range of other unique services and amenities including a large 3600 square foot lodge with vaulted peaks overlooking beautiful Lake Michigamme, a smaller cabin nestled in its own secluded little bay, a two person cabana up on the peak of the island and a Statue of Liberty that lights up.  Yep, that’s right!  The island has a Statue of Liberty and a range of other unique statues.  (Unique…. aka… WEIRD!!!)

The main lodge has a floor to ceiling double sided fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, a built in wet bar, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 loft, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dining room and family room.  The small cabin has a kitchen area and bedroom.  There is running water in both cabins.  The smaller cabin does not have indoor plumbing though, so it’s a rustic run to the outhouse if you don’t want to make the short trek to the main lodge.

At night, you can hang out in the middle of the island having a bonfire or we can load up the tractor for hayrides to the other side and back.  (It’s not a long ride, but it’s a blast.)  If you enjoy fishing, you can’t beat this lake day or night.  Lake Michigamme boasts multiple lodges, a campgrounds, a DNR boat launch and more.  The town of Michigamme is a beautiful little Upper Michigan town where you can spend a relaxing afternoon wandering around.  If you’re looking for something a little larger, Munising, Ishpeming and Marquette are just a short drive down the road.

We have been involved with this property for 20 years and have owned if for the last 6 years.  We’ve enjoyed our time there and would like to share the beauty and wonder that Lake Michigamme has to offer.
