Vacation Rental Description

The villa sits perched on 9 acres and offers cool breezes and panoramic views of Montego Bay. Originally built in 1930 by the editor of The New Yorker magazine, the villa has the amenities of a fine hotel and yet offers affordable luxury, privacy, and close proximity to all tourist activities, nightlife, and the airport. Within the house is a high-ceiling, grand living room with mahogany floors, a library, bar, TV room, antiques, a screened-in dining room overlooking the aquamarine waters below, and a commercial kitchen. The large terrace, which is ideal for day-dreaming and viewing stars at night, overlooks the large swimming pool and hot tub. Also on the grounds are a tennis court, a fitness center with state-of-the-art gym equipment, projection HD screening and surround sound, tropical gardens and fruit trees of Mango, Orange, banana, coconut, lemon, allspice, and breadfruit. This is the perfect spot for families, honeymoons, and groups of friends to relax and play.

Rental Rates Summary

Datura Villa rents on a weekly, Sunday to Sunday basis.  Weekly rates vary depending upon time of year and number of bedrooms requested.  Weekly rates include a full staff, comprised of an excellent cook, housekeeper, maid, caretaker/gardener and property manager/concierge.

A 50% deposit is required. A full refund is given if cancellation is received at least sixty days prior to arrival. A 50% refund is given with less then 60 days notice but greater then 30 days. No refund is available when cancellation occurs with less then 30 days notice from scheduled arrival, and for holiday weeks.
