The Farm is situated in the Nisqually Glacier to Sound Stewardship Corridor. It is the gateway to scenic recreation areas such as Mt. Rainier National Park, Mt. St. Helen's National Monument, Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Goat Rocks Wilderness Area.
Country Commfort...The Retreat is tastefully furnished and decorated in a comfortable and casual lodge style and each room of the home has amazing views of the expansive grounds, meadowns, ponds, wetlands and woodlands on the property. The Retreat is cozy for two but will sleep 8 comfortably in its three bedrooms and studio sun/family room.
There are trails and special areas for a quiet retreat where you can view the scenery and wildlife and plenty of room for gatherings of family and friends to enjoy over 3 acres of lawn with territorial views. Don't be surprised if you see an Elk herd lounging in the fields next to the ponds or our neighborly Blue Herons out to catch an evening meal in one of the three ponds on the property. Each year Wood Ducks, Mergansers, Ring Necks, Mallards, Redwing Blackbirds, Buffleheads, Cedar Waxwings and a large variety of other birds make their home at the Farm. It is a wonderful retreat for birders and nature enthusiasts of all kinds. The Farm is part of the Nisqually River Watershed and has been managed for over two decades to preserve and enhance native habitat and wildlife.
The Retreat can accommodate up to eight (8) guests in three large bedrooms all with built-in closets with either woodland or water views and the studio sun/family room with French doors leading to its own deck overlooking a pond.
From the 15'x36' deck off the living room you are just steps away from one of the three ponds on the property. You can sunbathe, relax with friends and family and enjoy beautiful sunsets while watching the resident ducks, birds and other wildlife settle in for the evening.
The living room has a large picture window and French door leading to the deck. There is a floor to ceiling red brick fireplace w/built in cabinets for media equipment. A large studio sun-family room has its own kitchenette, dining-game area and lounge w/TV.
The kitchen comes completely outfitted and has a full sized stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a large pantry and laundry room with a washer and dryer just next to a half bath.
The dining area overlooks the front yard and an ornamental pond. The yard immediately surrounding the home is fully fenced which makes it a perfect place for children and pets to play.
The bedrooms are all individually furnished in a lodge style with dressers, night stands and large closets all w/pond or wood views. Theextra large main bath has a full sized tub w/shower.
Amenities: fully furnished, local phone, wireless internet, queen, two-full sized beds and full futon, towels and bedding, all dining/kitchen utensils, dishware & cookware provided, range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, washer and dryer, 2 TVs satellite, DVD, hairdryer.

Area Description
Mt. Rainier National Park is one of the most popular places to visit in Washington and the northwestern Unitede States. Choose to stay at Rising Springs Farm and enjoy a 20 acres private retreat that is all yours and esplore the entire park any time of the year along with Mt. St. Helen's National Monument, Goat Rocks Wilderness area. No matter the time of year you plan to stay there are always plenty of things to do around active "Volcano Country". The Farm is popular during the winter months for the bautiful view of the snow-covered mountain and hillsides.
The Farm is only 5 minutes away from NW Trek Wildlife Center, 20 minutes from Alder Lake recreation area for swimming, fishing and boating, and the Elbe steam train. You can fish, boat, golf, whitewater raft or kayak, hike, bike, mountain or rock climb, bird watch, snow ski or just sit back and relax and enjoys the views and wildlife on your own personal 20 acres retreat.
Easy access...the Farm is located just two miles north of the town of Eatonville just off the Mt. Highway (State Rte. 161) and US Hwy #7 about a half-hour south of Tacoma and an hour south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Eatonville is the first stop to the scenic Central Casades, several national parks and forests and Volcano Country. Eatonville has all of the amenities you and your family need: grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, post office, library, parks and lots of shops for browsing for items hand crafted by local artists.
The Farm is only 5 minutes away from Northwest Trek Wildlife Park where you can take a tram tour to see bison, brawny bears and wolves and walk forest pathways to see beavers swim, wolverines play and lynx pounce. The Pioneer Village, Alder Lake and Pack Forest are also only a short drive from the Farm.
The entrance to Mt. Rainer, 20 minutes from the Farm, is best know for its superb hiking, mountain climbing and viewing wildflowers in the summer and snow play in the winter. At Paradise and White Pass Ski areas, just 17 miles from the park's southeaast entrance on the White Pass Scenic byway, is a favorite for family friendly skiing. Great day trips to the Olympic National Park and Rainforest and Pacific Ocean beachrs, Columbia River Gorge, Mt. St. Helen's, Washington's wine country and the urban areas of Seattle and Portland.
