Located 70 miles north of Puerto Villarta airport or a 1 1/2 hour drive through areas of old growth jungle and quaint Mexican villages is an isolated open stretch of beach as far as the eye can see.

In this coconut palm grove with beautiful manicured gardens, common area pool and active sea turtle sanctuary, is our home away from home.

Our 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, with king beds and each with a full bath, walk in shower and individual beach access with outdoor shower will meet all your needs.

A winding stairwell guides you to the second floor living/dining/kitchen area with 2 covered patios and 1/2 bath.

The views of the beach and gardens are easily enjoyed from this level, while you are cooking in the open kitchen listening to music and visiting with family/guests.

Now take the staircase to the roof terrace with it's own thatched palapa to cook on our grill, sunbathe, play board games, read a book or just sit and listen to the crashing waves on the beach, watch the colorful sunsets, stare at the stars so brilliant you think you can touch them.

The chairs and lounges are so comfortable, the breezes so pleasing and the views so incredible that you may not leave this inviting terrace other than to refill your drink or obtain a snack.

Playa Las Tortugas lies on the west coast of Mexico just 70 miles north of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas, in the "Riviera Nayarit", in a setting with miles of sandy beach on our west and hundreds of acres of mangrove estuary on our east, nesting habitat for sea turtles and more than 125 species of birds.

Your scenic drive north through areas of old-growth jungle which border the coast is simply spectacular. Before arriving you might select a variety of fresh fruits and coconut products in stands along the road. Optionally we can arrange for transportation for you to and from the airport.
