Vacation Rental Description
Come stay in our tropical sculpture garden!
You will share a 3 acre gated property which includes our home, ping pong room (coaching available), and art gallery. Our 20 year old botanical garden is fully available for photographing and exploring. It includes ponds and ceramic sculptures, and hundreds of varieties of fruiting and flowering plants including huge trees and palms, bamboo, rare species, and orchids.
We love to share our fresh, free-range eggs and whatever fruits and veggies are in season and growing on our property when you arrive.
This 1 bedroom unit also has an office, large living room with fold-out futon, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, deck, and garage to park your car. You will have WIFI, 2 TVs and DVD players and a phone.
This downstairs unit is next to a fully functioning professional pottery studio.
Area DescriptionWe are located right in between Hilo and Volcano, and are within 20 minutes of 4 weekly farmers markets. We're just about 20 minutes to both Volcano and Hilo, 30 minutes to Pahoa, and 1.5 hours to Waimea.
We are less than 1 mile off of HWY 11 on a paved road in Kurtistown. Our location is perfect for those looking for an introduction to our local art community, or for those wanting to explore Volcanoes National Park, but prefer a warmer location than Volcano Village, and much closer to Hilo and other attractions like the Maku'u Farmers Market, the Kapoho Tidepools and our local lava viewing areas. Please give a 2 week notice prior to your stay to avoid a %50 charge of the total rental amount. If you want to cancel within the 2 weeks, but we can re-rent the room, we're happy to refund all of your money.
I night stay is $125 per night. Regular rate of $100/night applies to rentals 2 nights and longer.
