The Mountain View Ranch is perfect for your Vermont vacation. The private country setting is spectacular, mountain views abound from every window of our spacious accommodations. Guests enjoy all the comforts of home in a delightful 2 bedroom converted farmhouse, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, living room and a huge master bedroom with sitting area. Sip your morning brew while gazing out at the Green Mountain national forest just 5 minutes away.  The Ranch offers lots of spectacular horseback riding trips right out your door. Customized riding vacations are available or choose one of our designed packages. Canoeing, fishing, hiking, just minutes to Manchester and Rutland VT’s shopping, and no more than 40 minutes to 4 ski resorts make the Ranch an ideal location to enjoy all that Vermont has to offer.

No matter what time of year you visit Vermont the atmosphere is relaxed and the scenery spectacular. The winter air is crisp and the land is blanketed with pristine snow. The spring flowers and fresh green leaves dazzle all of your senses. The summer mountains teem with wildlife and the rolling farmland will remind you of years past. The brilliant oranges, reds, and golds paint the mountains into breathtaking autumn landscapes.

Area Description

We are located in a nice rural area of Vermont.  We are on a back country lane, so it is quiet and relaxing.  The area around the ranch is perfect for hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, anything you could think of.  We also offer horseback riding right out your door.

Rates are $150 a night for two people and $200 a night for more than two.

Ride and Stay Package: Includes two nights lodging and a one or two hour private horseback ride through Vermont's scenic countryside. This package is available all four seasons.

1 hour Ride and Stay Package for 2: $390 
1 hour Ride and Stay Package for 4: $580

2 hour Ride and Stay Package for 2: $460

Winter Adventure Package: Includes two nights lodging, a private horse-drawn sleigh ride to a winter bonfire where you enjoy hot chocolate and smores. On your second day enjoy a private one hour horseback ride through the beautiful winter landscape.
