The Home Above the Bay is a very large and well appointed high-bank waterfront home with sweeping Puget Sound views and steps through the woods down to the sand flats when the tide recedes.  This spacious split level home offers 7 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a private setting just 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Seattle.  With plenty of space including a large living room and big family room, this home provides five queen beds and four twin beds.  The large kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining table enjoys a spectacular view and seats 14. 

The elevated main floor is light and bright with four bedrooms, each with queen beds, including the master bedroom with walk-in closet and bath with jetted tub.  Off the bath is a secret deck for soaking up sun in complete privacy.  There is an additional full bath on the main floor.  The master bedroom, living room and adjacent deck, dining room, and kitchen, each enjoy wonderful water views. 

The lower level also offers an elevated deck.  The family room and one of the twin-bedded rooms enjoy water views.  Two other bedrooms are located on this floor, one with a queen bed, one with a set of bunk beds.  There is a full bath on this floor, as well as washer / dryer.

Area Description

The home is located about ten minutes from a large shopping center with movies, departments stores, etc., and about five minutes from the grocery store.  The property has plenty of parking and a private setting the way the home is sited.  The home offers lawn area and two smaller private deck areas in addition to the larger decks off the main living areas.  There are steps down to the water's edge at the rear of the property.  When the tide recedes, the tidal flats extend for quite a distance providing a great opportunity for exploration of the sand flats and the shells and sealife newly exposed.  Overhead you will often hear and see eagles as they search the sea, or see blue heron and other wildlife drawn to the water.  The setting of the home offers a private and quiet experience, yet the amenities of the city are not far away.
