Beautiful North Shore Oahu-Turtle Bay
Vacation Rental Description
Please ask for Kona Kai condo at Turtle Bay.
This is a gorgeous, immaculate, 2 bedroom + loft, 2 bath condo on the North Shore of Oahu at Turtle Bay. It has recently been furnished entirely with imported teak furniture from Bali. Located on the 10th fairway of the golf course, with a constant breeze flowing through the unit, it is an amazing place to relax. The grounds at Kuilima and Turtle Bay are perfectly manicured and tropical. It's the type of place that you can spend days, just walking around, going to the beach, sipping a drink at the pool bar over looking the ocean and never want to leave! Come check out the North Shore of Oahu, the country side of the island, and leave the hustle and noise of the other side be! Interior Specifics: Approx 1600 square feet This condo is truly amazing throughout! As you approach the unit you will encounter a teak bench, and towel rack outside the front door for you to hang your suits, and towels and shoes for your convenience. As you walk inside you will first encounter more teak towel/coat racks, and a hutch to leave your keys, purses etc! To your right is the downstairs bedroom, stocked with a king size teak and bamboo framed bed, and dressers and nightstands to match. With plenty of closet space, an AC unit and a full length slider. Right outside this bedroom is the downstairs bathroom. As you make your way down the hall and into the kitchen you will find a fully stocked kitchen, with ceramic dishware from Indonesia, and all the essentials you will need. It is equipped with fairly new appliances including Refrigerator, range oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. The kitchen is opened up to the dining and living room area through a bar top area with barstools. Moving into the dining and living room you will find a beautiful solid teak wood dining table and chairs, with seating for up to 8. The living room has a queen size dark wicker day bed, with a ton of pillows and is perfect for sitting up and reading a book and laying down and watching a movie or falling asleep (this is where many end up sleeping). The entertainment center is filled with beautiful artifacts and house wares from Indonesia. It also has Cable TV, DVD, CD player, and speaker system for your ipod or mp3. Going upstairs, you first see the loft which has two beautifully made twin teak beds (great for kids), and matching dressers and end table. They will also enjoy a ceiling fan and their own private closet. Also at the top of the stairs is a washer/dryer. The master bedroom is great!!! It has a gorgeous solid teak, low rise king bed frame, and tropical linens. There is a matching bench at the foot of the bed, matching dressers and nightstands. This room also has a full slider, ceiling fan, AC, and private bath. Leave the sliders open in the living room and bedrooms while you home and the breeze will fill the entire unit. We have personally never used the AC! The unit is filled with scenes from Hawaii, including framed photos of beaches, mountains and waterfalls. Exterior/Complex Specs: Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay has one of the most beautiful grounds I've ever seen! The property is landscaped with plumeria, hibiscus trees, flowers, grass, and trees, so perfectly that it looks surreal. The complex itself is a low rise, low density style place with plenty of space and flow between units. They are wood shingled units, with about 4 per cluster. There is one assigned parking spot, with the number 49, and plenty of guest parking spots as well. There are pools and tennis courts close by to the condo, and both are in perfect condition. The condos are also surrounded by 36 holes of golf, and are absolutely beautiful. The way the wind blows through this area of Hawaii, you will fill like you are at the cleanest place on earth. The sky is blue, and there's a perfect of mix of wind, rain and sun, to keep it bright and glowing with life. It is just a short walk along the golf course to the beach and the Turtle Bay Resort. The beach here is amazing, there are miles of secluded beaches on both sides of the resort, and there are beachside trails to access them. To the right of Turtle Bay you can find a secret swimming hole, and walk through sand dunes, and to the left of Turtle Bay you can walk past the stables and stumble upon Kawela Bay, an incredible crescent shaped bay with calm waters, and few, if any, people. There are also many places to surf or dive if that's your thing. The grounds are huge and it is easy to spend days cruising around this area, the trails are well maintained and perfect for running and biking as well. If you choose to be less adventurous, Turtle Bay has a beach with year round swimming and snorkeling, snack bar, showers and beach rentals. You also have the resort amenities at your doorstep as well. They offer surfing lessons, horseback riding, yoga, full spa facility, etc! Turtle Bay has some great restaurants, and places to have a drink, including the pool bar, overlooking the Pacific.
Area DescriptionActivities/Surrounding Areas: As I mentioned in the previous section, there is a lot to do without leaving The Turtle Bay property. But if you decide to venture off you won't be let down. The North Shore has the most beautiful stretch of beaches I've ever seen. From Turtle Bay to Haleiwa there are so many, from quiet and isolated to popular and packed. Make sure you visit Sunset Beach, Pipeline, Rocky Point, and Waimea. These are some of the more popular and famous beaches, and each one is different and amazing. Foodland and Starbucks are about 5-6 miles away with a few good restaurants in between. Also, make sure to spend some time in Haleiwa Town, and old fishing village, that is now a lively little surf town. There is great shopping and restaurants here. You can eat cheap in Hawaii, try Kua aina for burgers, L & L for local plate lunch, Cholos for Mexican Food, and Haleiwa Joes for a nicer dinner and some fresh fish or steak. There's plenty of hiking and biking to do as well around the North Shore, and feel free to email me if you want more info on that. Driving around the island is a good, but long, way to spend the day. If you decide to do this, make a left turn as you drive out of Turtle Bay, and drive around the East side of the island. Along the way you will pass the Polynesian Cultural Center, and many cute little local towns. Kehei and Kaneohe are nice places to visit and have all the necessities of a city with some gorgeous beaches. Try to make a side trip up to the Pali Lookout and get some views of the islands above the clouds amongst the rain forest and waterfalls. Of course Honolulu and Waikiki have a lot to offer as well, and although it is a big city on the beach, it is still beautiful in it's own way. Try watching the sunset from Dukes or rent a long board from the guys out front. Contact InformationMark Berkowitz (808)351 7761 (808)232 0237 Please Mention S2S #59
